After six exciting days in Tayrona National Park, I headed to Buritaca, a charming coastal village with a relaxed atmosphere. Here I was able to unwind, explore the local shops and sample the delicious Colombian cuisine. The encounters with the friendly locals rounded off my stay and gave me an insight into authentic life in Colombia.

In addition to the sights and culinary delights, Barichara also offered adventure for those who dared. A trip to the Parque Nacional del Chicamocha took me to one of the largest canyons in the world, where I experienced ziplining, rappelling and admired the breathtaking scenery from the air. Rafting through the Rio Fonce and paragliding near Kuriti were also unforgettable experiences that gave me a new perspective on the beauty of nature.

Our journey through the Valle de Cocora and the Zona Cafetera was an unforgettable adventure full of nature, culture and unexpected encounters. We are grateful for the memories we have created and look forward to returning to this fascinating region one day.

Cali is a city full of contrasts and surprises to be discovered. Despite its challenges, its beauty and diversity remain unmistakable, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to experience it on my journey. After arriving at Colca Canyon, the options are many. Some opt for a day trip to admire the majestic beauty of the canyon and watch the impressive condors soar high above the canyon walls. These majestic birds, with a wingspan of up to 3 meters, are an impressive attraction and attract visitors from all over the world.

With the highest point of the hike at 5000 meters above sea level, it is advisable to do the hike after a few days in Cusco or after one of the multi-day hikes to Machu Picchu to avoid altitude sickness. The hike to Rainbow Mountain is spectacular, especially when the weather is sunny and the sun highlights the colorful stripes.
