Once again we were drawn to the Trattoria di Mambrino in Larcomar – a place that is a popular meeting place not only for tourists but also for locals.

Larcomar, the famous shopping and leisure center in Lima's trendy Miraflores district, is one of our favorite places in Peru. Not only because we come here regularly, but also because this place combines the best of shopping, gastronomy and culture - with an unbeatable view of the Pacific.

A visit to the Plaza San Miguel shopping center in Lima is hard to imagine without a stop at the restaurant La Bistecca Fusión . Known for its huge buffet, it attracts hungry families as well as lovers of international cuisine.

The Real Plaza Piura is one of the most famous shopping centers in Piura. We at PeruMagazin visited the center to take a closer look at what it has to offer and the atmosphere.

The plaza shines in the darkness like a bright star – a symbol of life in Lima that never stands still.

Barranco beach is not what you see in typical travel brochures. No sparkling water, no golden sand dunes and certainly no tropical palm tree backdrop. Instead, it is nestled between rugged cliffs that are impressive but also a little desolate.

As soon as we arrived at the beach, they appeared: little elves. They were quick, quiet and everywhere. In no time at all, they had put up chairs for us, put up parasols and laid out a comfortable mat for Mama and Ana. Papa watched them, impressed.

The flight had lasted 12 hours. Twelve hours in which Peruso had experienced everything – from impatient fidgeting to a short, unwanted nap that Mom described as “finally!”
