Ich hatte keine Erwartungen, war aber sofort begeistert. Die Figuren wirken wie echte Kinder, die Texte sind frech, charmant und klug. Und endlich mal ein Buch, das auch Erwachsene beim Vorlesen zum Schmunzeln bringt. Absolute Empfehlung – nicht nur für Kinder, sondern für alle, die sich für Geschichte interessieren und keine Lust auf trockene Texte haben.

Was für ein tolles Kinderbuch! Mein Sohn ist sechs, kann schon gut lesen, aber langweilt sich schnell. Dieses Buch hat ihn sofort gepackt. Die witzigen Bemerkungen, die ungewöhnliche Perspektive und der lockere Ton machen richtig Spaß – und ganz nebenbei lernen Kinder eine Menge über das Inka-Reich. Wirklich gelungen.

Ich habe das Buch für meinen Neffen gekauft und dachte, ich lese mal kurz rein – zwei Stunden später war ich durch. So ein liebevoll gestaltetes, witziges und gleichzeitig informatives Kinderbuch habe ich selten gesehen. Die Figuren sind frech, ehrlich und irgendwie aus dem Leben gegriffen. Genau so muss Geschichte vermittelt werden: mit Herz und Humor.
