Three days, three opponents, and a new roster! Alianza Lima kicks off the Noche Blanquiazul on September 25, 2026. Peru's three-time volleyball champion will host international competition from Spain, Argentina, and Brazil. Fans can look forward to the official team presentation and three matches in front of a home crowd.
A total of six matches are on the schedule at the Polideportivo Lucha Fuentes in Villa El Salvador from September 25 to 27. In addition to Alianza Lima, CAV Esquimo from Spain, Boca Juniors from Argentina, and EC Pinheiros from Brazil will participate. Coach Alejandro Schneider will have the opportunity to test his newly assembled squad before the start of the national league.
IT ALL STARTS TODAY! THE SPANIARDS CHALLENGE ALIANZA
The opening match against CAV Esquimo, competing under the name Fundación Cajasol Andalucía, begins on Friday at 5:45 PM Peruvian time. For the Spanish side, it is their first trip to the American continent. Boca Juniors and Pinheiros will open the tournament earlier at 3:00 PM. On Saturday, the hosts face Boca Juniors, followed by the closing match against Pinheiros on Sunday.

THE NEW STARS ARE HERE! ALIANZA PRESENTS ITS ROSTER
Three-time consecutive Peruvian champions! Alianza Lima enters the 2026/27 season with a revamped roster. Coach Alejandro Schneider is relying on experienced players and international newcomers. Captain Esmeralda Sánchez is part of the squad, as is Colombian setter María Alejandra Marín. Clarivett Yllescas, Flavia Montes, and Diana de la Peña are also on the team. The roster is further bolstered by the addition of Ioana Baciu, Taylor Fricano, Allie Holland, and Daniela Bulaich.

TWO 1-3 LOSSES! ALIANZA MUST NOW REACT
The recent pre-season preparation brought two defeats. At the Brazil Cup, Alianza Lima lost to Gerdau Minas and Fluminense, each by a score of 1-3. The second match was particularly disappointing: the Peruvians won the first set 25-19 against Fluminense but then dropped three straight sets. Now, their first appearance in front of their home fans follows. These international encounters provide Schneider with the opportunity to test different lineups and improve coordination.

TICKETS FROM 39 SOLES! FANS CAN BE THERE LIVE
Published ticket prices start at 39 Soles for the general grandstand. Other categories cost 60 or 70 Soles. Three-day passes were offered between 105 and 189 Soles. According to a report from September 21, the general grandstand was already sold out. Anyone still wanting to purchase a ticket should check current availability with the organizer.
The tournament can also be followed without a ticket. América TV and América tvGO will broadcast the matches in Peru. For viewers in Germany, the opening match against CAV Esquimo begins at 00:45 AM on Saturday night.
DEFENDING THE TITLE! ALIANZA AIMS FOR MORE WINS
After three consecutive championships, Alianza Lima faces a demanding season. In addition to the Peruvian league, international club competitions await. The Noche Blanquiazul is therefore much more than just a team presentation celebration: against opponents from three different countries, the newly formed team can prove itself for the first time in front of a home crowd.
