With the RAÍCES PERÚ Heavyweight T-Shirt, PeruMagazin expands its T-shirt collection with a design that focuses on the connection to Peru. "Raíces" means "roots" in English - and that's exactly what the new design is all about: origin, history and the connection to Peru.
The motif combines a geometry inspired by Andean forms with a golden sun and colored, root-like elements. The design is an independent PeruMagazin design and not a traditional historical symbol. The sun represents origin, life, and energy, while the different colors reflect the diversity of Peru.

Below the lettering PERÚ RAÍCES is "PASADO · PRESENTE · SIEMPRE" – past, present, always. This succinctly expresses the motif's central message: one's roots are not just part of the past. They accompany people in the present and remain part of their identity.
Thus, the T-shirt is not only aimed at people in Peru. Especially for Peruvians who now live in Germany or other countries, as well as for families with connections to both countries, RAÍCES can represent something very personal.
RAÍCES PERÚ as a 3D motif
The motif works visually with different layers, textures, shadows, and highlighted edges. This creates a 3D relief effect, even though the motif is printed directly on the front of the shirt.
At the center are the colored shapes, which run like roots through the dark, stone-like basic structure. They are symbolic of the different landscapes, people, stories, and cultural influences that make up Peru.

For RAÍCES PERÚ, PeruMagazin uses a Comfort Colors 1717 Unisex Garment-Dyed Heavyweight T-Shirt. The shirt is made of 100 percent ring-spun cotton and has a fabric weight of 206.8 g/m².
The cut is loose. The garment dyeing gives the black shirt its characteristic look. Reinforced areas at the neck and shoulders as well as double seams at the sleeves and hem are designed for robust processing. The RAÍCES motif is located exclusively on the front.
Sizes and prices
The RAÍCES PERÚ Heavyweight T-Shirt is available in sizes S to 4XL. The price starts at 23.99 Euros. Larger sizes cost a little more due to different production costs.
The shirt is only produced after the order. This means that production is not for stock, but rather each actually ordered T-shirt is manufactured and printed.
