The Cajamarca Book Fair concludes today, September 6, 2026. For the eleventh edition of the Feria del Libro de Cajamarca, or Felicaj, organizers expect more than 170,000 visitors in total.
The fair takes place in the historic center of Cajamarca. Venues include the Pasaje de la Cultura and the Conjunto Monumental Belén.
More than 150 Events
This year's program includes more than 150 literary, academic, cultural, and artistic events. These include book presentations, conversations with authors, and other offerings for various age groups.
In addition to authors and publishers from Peru, various institutions are involved. The book fair creates a meeting point for literature, education, and cultural exchange.
With the expected more than 170,000 visitors, Felicaj underscores Cajamarca's cultural significance far beyond the region.
Last Day of the Fair in Cajamarca
Those currently in Cajamarca have their last chance today to visit this year's book fair. After several days of events, the eleventh edition concludes on Sunday evening.
Cajamarca is known for its colonial old town and its significant role in Peruvian history. Events like Felicaj expand the city's cultural offerings.
