Arrival in Callao
The plane carrying Pope Leo XIV is expected at the Base Aérea del Callao at 5:30 PM. The visit to Peru will begin there with the official reception. The military base is not a publicly accessible venue. No official spectator area at the airbase has been announced for visitors to date.
Journey to the Historic Center of Lima
Pope Leo XIV is expected at the Palacio de Gobierno as early as 6:15 PM, where the official welcoming ceremony will take place.
