Perusino, Perusina, and Tupac: The Adventure with the Jaguar
It was a sunny day in the high mountains of the Inca Empire. Perusino and Perusina had just enjoyed a hearty breakfast in the palace when they saw Tupac, the young crown prince, frolicking in the large square in front of the Sun Temple.
“Look, Perusina! Tupac is outside playing with his friends. Shall we go join him?” Perusino asked.
“Yes, let’s play along! It’s always exciting to spend time with Tupac,” Perusina replied with a smile. Together, they ran out and happily called, “Tupac! Shall we go on an adventure together?”
Tupac turned around and waved to them. “Yes, come with me! I know a secret place in the forest where we can play!” He pointed to the lush forests that stretched at the foot of the mountains.
“But it’s important that we pay attention. The forest can also be dangerous,” Tupac added, his eyes sparkling with excitement.
Perusino nodded seriously. “We’re ready. You lead the way, Tupac!”
The Secret Place in the Forest
The children ran into the forest, laughing and full of anticipation. The trees stood tall and close together, and sunlight filtered through the canopy in soft rays. Birds chirped happily, and the rustling of leaves under their feet made the adventure all the more exciting.
After a while, they came to a small hidden clearing where a sparkling river flowed gently through the trees. “This is the place!” Tupac exclaimed proudly. “Here we can play and enjoy the day!”
They began to play by the riverbank, throwing stones and building small boats out of leaves. Tupac was happy to have his new friends with him, and they laughed and enjoyed their time together.
But suddenly, they heard a soft growl from the undergrowth. All the children froze. Perusina put a finger to her lips. “Shhh! Did you hear that?”
“What was that?” another child asked fearfully.
Perusino pricked up his ears and whispered, “That sounds like a jaguar…”
Danger in the Forest
A pair of eyes gleamed from the dense thicket, and the growl grew louder. A large, majestic jaguar slowly emerged from the shadows. Its golden fur glowed in the sunlight, and its eyes were fixed on the group of children.
“We have to be careful,” Tupac whispered, trying to stay calm. “We must not scare the jaguar, but we also have to leave.”
Perusina thought quickly. “We need a plan. If we all run in different directions at the same time, we might confuse the jaguar.”
“But what if it chases one of us?” another child asked, terrified.
“Don't worry,” Perusino said determinedly. “We'll manage, together! We have to help each other.”
They stood close together as the jaguar slowly approached them. Its muscular legs moved gracefully over the forest floor, and the children felt the tingling of fear in their stomachs.
“Now!” Perusina suddenly shouted. “Everyone run in different directions on three!”
“One… two… three!” Tupac called, and all the children scattered.
The Brave Plan
The jaguar was briefly confused as the group split. It snapped its head left and right, unsure which child to follow. But then it began to chase one of the smaller boys, who was a little slower than the others.
“Oh no!” Perusino cried. “It's chasing him!”
“We have to save him!” Tupac exclaimed determinedly. He quickly looked around and spotted a tall tree with thick vines hanging from it.
“Perusino, Perusina, help me! If we quickly cut the vines and throw them on the ground, we can set a trap for the jaguar!” Tupac explained. Together, they tore down as many vines as possible and quickly stretched them between the trees.
“That will stop him!” Perusina said hopefully.
The little boy ran as fast as he could towards the trap, and the jaguar was close behind him. But as the big jaguar ran through the vines, it got caught and fell to the ground. It was trapped!
“It worked!” Perusino cried with relief.
The jaguar snarled angrily and tried to free itself, but the vines were strong enough to hold it for a while. The children took the opportunity to gather at a safe distance.
“We did it!” Tupac exclaimed with relief. “We outsmarted the jaguar!”
New Friendships
The children returned safely to the palace and told the adults about their adventure in the forest. Everyone praised Tupac, Perusina, and Perusino for their courage and cleverness.
“You helped each other and saved everyone,” Amaru said proudly as she hugged Tupac.
“That was truly an adventure we will never forget!” Perusino added. “And now we are all the best of friends!”
“Yes,” Tupac said radiantly, “no matter what happens, we will always be there for each other.”
From that day on, Perusina, Perusino, Tupac, and the other children were inseparable friends. They spent their days having new adventures and learned that with courage, teamwork, and friendship, they could overcome any challenge.
