Interview in the Shadow of a Llama

Perusina, Perusino, and Torsten Peters talk about the children's book "Gods with Superpowers," Inca knowledge, popcorn with air problems, and educationally valuable chaos.

This interview was conducted with utmost caution in the shadow of a llama. No one was supposed to know. That's why we're sharing it with you.

Perusina, Perusino, and Torsten Peters talk about Inca gods with superpowers, popcorn with air problems, and childlike megalomania with a touch of educational dignity.

The children's book "Perusina & Perusino – Gods with Superpowers – Inca Edition" combines cheeky stories with a playful introduction to the world of the Incas. The characters ask questions, mix up ancient deities, and ensure that history doesn't sound like a dry school textbook.

The Secret Interview

Journalist: So you two are book stars now. How does it feel?

Perusina: I actually wanted to be a queen. Now I'm in a book. But I'll let it slide.

Perusino: I thought we'd at least get a llama salary!

Torsten Peters: There was popcorn.

Perusino: That wasn't real popcorn. That was roasted corn with air problems!

Journalist: Torsten, how did you come up with the idea of writing a children's book about Inca gods with superpowers?

Torsten Peters: I wanted to tell history, but in a way that children actually think. Not well-behaved. But crazy, wild, and sometimes a little naughty.

Perusina: We are not naughty at all!

Perusino: Only sometimes. When it's necessary.

Journalist: What awaits the readers?

Perusino: Superpowers. Llamas. Gods who have no idea. And my tummy has its own scene!

Perusina: And I explain what the Incas really thought. Well, what I think they thought.

Torsten Peters: It's a mix of real facts, childlike humor, and a good dose of madness. Perfect for curious kids and parents who dare to laugh.

Journalist: And why shouldn't you miss this book under any circumstances?

Perusina: Because otherwise I'll be offended.

Perusino: And because otherwise you'll never find out how to pull a sun god's tooth.

Torsten Peters: Because education doesn't have to be boring. And because we can all handle a little more chaos on our bookshelves.

Journalist: Last question. What would you do if the book became a bestseller?

Perusino: I'd buy a llama. With sunglasses.

Perusina: I'd have a temple built for myself. Just for me. No boys allowed.

Torsten Peters: I'll keep writing if these two let me.
