Cusco is not only a city, but also a perfect starting point for various tours. Some places can be visited independently, while others are easily accessible with organized transport. The variety of tours offered allows every traveler to pursue their interests, be it cultural, historical or adventurous.

But before we take to the skies, we use the afternoon to get to know Nazca better. The aqueducts, an impressive feat of engineering from the ancient Nazca civilization, tell stories of a bygone era. Near the town we discover the Chauchilla cemetery, which, with its prehistoric mummies, provides insights into the burial practices of the Nazca culture.

The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly Cusco and the world famous Machu Picchu. The historic ruins of Cusco, once the center of the Inca Empire, fascinated us with their architecture and history. Hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu was strenuous, but the breathtaking views and historical significance made it an unforgettable experience.

It was a journey of extremes - from sublime sunsets to hours of rain. The silence of the jungle was broken only by the sound of wildlife, and the days were dictated by the rising and setting sun.
