From August 7 to 15, 2026, Lima will host the 30th edition of the Festival de Cine de Lima PUCP. The festival is one of Peru's most important film events, bringing together filmmakers, producers, actors, and film enthusiasts from numerous countries.
Under the motto “Vamos a vernos” (Let's see each other), the focus is on encounters, cultural exchange, and a shared cinematic experience. To celebrate its anniversary, visitors can expect an extensive program featuring more than 130 films, along with numerous discussions, workshops, and professional events.
More than 130 films from Peru and around the world
During the nine days of the festival, more than 130 productions will be screened. The program includes feature films, documentaries, short films, premieres, special screenings, and retrospectives.
A special focus is placed on Peruvian and Latin American cinema. Many works will be shown for the first time in Peru. Some productions will celebrate their national or international premiere at the festival.
Competitions and Awards
