Perusina und Perusino retten Lloque Yupanqui

Perusina and Perusino save Lloque Yupanqui

It was a quiet, starry night when Perusina and Perusino lay in their bed and dreamed of their adventures in the land of the Incas. The moon shone softly through the window, but suddenly the two were awakened by a strange noise - a soft whisper that came from seemed to come from the distance. The two of them sat up curiously.

"Did you hear that?" Perusina asked in a whisper. Perusino nodded. "Yes, it sounds like someone is calling us."

Before they could say more, a warm, golden light appeared in the room, just like last time. This time, however, it was not Inti, the sun god. Instead, a figure dressed in a shimmering robe stood before them, looking at them with a serious expression. " I am **Pachamama**, the earth goddess," said the figure. "You must help me. Lloque Yupanqui is in great danger and only you can save him."

Perusina and Perusino looked at each other in surprise. "In danger?" Perusino asked worriedly. "What happened?"

"A dangerous rock is about to fall on him," Pachamama explained. "He is in the mountains to check the canals, but a landslide has come loose. If no one intervenes quickly, he will not be able to escape in time."

"We'll help immediately!" Perusina called out determinedly. Pachamama nodded gratefully. "I'll take you there." With a gesture, she closed her eyes and the earth began to shake. Suddenly Perusina and Perusino found themselves on a narrow mountain path that wound through the high Andes. Huge rocks towered in front of them and the wind blew coolly across the path.

"Quick, follow me!" Pachamama called and led the children up the steep path. They could already hear the dull rumble of the landslide moving ever closer to them.

After a while they saw him - Lloque Yupanqui was standing higher up on the mountain, engrossed in examining a channel that ran through the rocks. He did not notice that above him a large rock was slowly sliding and coming dangerously towards him.

“Lloque Yupanqui!” Perusino cried desperately. “Watch out!”

But the noise of the wind and the rocks drowned out his voice. Perusina and Perusino looked around in panic. "We have to act quickly," said Perusina. "But how? The rock is huge!"

Pachamama took a step forward. "You are brave children and nature itself will help you. You must use the power of the earth to save Lloque Yupanqui. Let us call on the trees and stones to support us."

“Nature will help us?” Perusino asked in astonishment. “How?”

Pachamama pointed to the trees and bushes that grew along the side of the path. "See these strong, old trees? Their roots hold the ground. If we use their power, we can stop the landslide."

Perusina nodded determinedly. "But how do we talk to them?" Pachamama placed her hand gently on the ground. "You just have to have strong faith in nature. Talk to the ground and the roots of the trees - they will hear you."

The two children knelt down and placed their hands on the cold ground. "Please, dear trees," Perusina whispered, "we need your help. Lloque Yupanqui is in danger."

Perusino closed his eyes and added, “Help us stop the rock.”

Then they suddenly felt a slight tremor under their hands. The earth seemed to wake up and the roots of the trees began to move. They crawled slowly but powerfully across the ground, wrapping themselves around the loose stones that had come loose. The trees worked together, their branches bent into the wind, and with a loud crack the roots held the rock in place before it could fall on Lloque Yupanqui.

Lloque Yupanqui, who had finally heard the rumbling, looked up in surprise. He saw the trees and ground around him moving, and then he spotted Perusina and Perusino waving excitedly. "You saved my life!" he shouted, running down the trail to join them.

"We had help from Pachamama," Perusina said modestly when Lloque Yupanqui reached her. "But you really have to be careful when you're alone in the mountains."

Lloque Yupanqui smiled gratefully and placed his hand on her shoulders. "You two are truly brave children. Without your quick help I would not have made it. I will always be grateful for your wisdom."

Pachamama also stepped forward and looked at the children with pride. "You have shown that you understand and respect the power of nature. The earth and its powers will always be at your side if you live in harmony with it."

The children felt filled with pride and gratitude. Not only had they saved Lloque Yupanqui, but they had also found a deep connection with nature.

"Now we should get you safely back to the palace," Perusino said with a smile. "And next time, take someone with you when you check the channels!"

Lloque Yupanqui laughed heartily. “I promise!” He turned around and led the children back down the mountain, where the path was now safe again.

When they reached the palace, Pachamama said goodbye. "Today you have proven that courage and respect for nature always win," she said before disappearing into the earth as if she had never been there.

Perusina and Perusino spent some more time with Lloque Yupanqui, but the night was drawing to a close. With a final grateful look, the sun god Inti brought them safely back to their room. The adventures of that day allowed them to fall asleep in their beds satisfied and happy, knowing that they had saved the life of a great ruler.

"Sleep, my child, in Peru,
Llamas rest, clouds close.
The moon shines brightly on mountain and valley,
Sweet dreams in the starbeam. 🌙✨"
