Nicaragua

Nicaragua is a Central American country with a population of around 6 million people. The capital is Managua. Nicaragua shares borders with Honduras to the north and Costa Rica to the south. The country is characterized by volcanoes, lakes and rainforests. The economy is based primarily on agriculture, textile production and tourism. Nicaragua has a complex political history, including the Sandinista Revolution in the 1980s. Despite social and economic challenges, the country is home to a rich culture shaped by indigenous influences and Spanish colonization.
