Mexico

Mexico, officially the United Mexican States, is located in North America and borders the USA to the north. With a diverse culture, rich history and stunning landscapes, Mexico is known for its pre-Columbian civilizations, including the Aztecs and Maya. The capital is Mexico City. The country is economically important and has a diverse flora and fauna. Famous attractions include the pyramids of Teotihuacan, the beaches of Cancún and the historic city of Oaxaca. Mexico is also known worldwide for its culinary diversity, especially dishes such as tacos, guacamole and tortillas.
