Are they really the doctors? Just over a year since the last album. HELL was called... er... it's called, and they took eight years to do it. (Well, gross anyway.) DARK. Seriously now? Why are they doing this?

Because they can?!

Of course, BelaFarinRod has long been something of an icon who doesn't worry about whether everyone - let alone anyone - should be pleased. Who has always simply done what she does best: being a doctor. If in doubt, without taking your (own) losses into account, but in the end it's always just completely convincing.

Two tours are coming up, two albums are in the bag. Never before have the Ärzte fans had such a wealth of new material that had not previously been performed live. That's a blessing and a curse, because if you really want to be sure of your lyrics, you now have 19 more smash hits to internalize. 19 new songs that are once again poaching in all pots and yet condense something like the soul of the doctors. 19 songs that seem surprisingly cohesive as a whole, even though they each encompass an entire universe despite their compactness. Musically and lyrically.

It's the doctors. Better than capitalism. Sometimes with rabbit fucking music. Or just with it. Because that's the core business: The best band in the world.
