Zurück vom Kurzurlaub, hinein in die Festtagswoche

Back from the short vacation and into the holiday week

So we arrived back in Piura. This time the journey was quiet and without any checks by the police or customs.

And now we could take care of the important things. A mattress. Because the house will be full in the next few days. So many guests have announced themselves that I'm getting scared and worried. But I probably don't need to have it. Anyway, we went out again in the evening to buy a mattress. There is a street where several traders next to each other offer their goods for sale. After two shops our decision was clear and we not only had a mattress, but also a bed. And this is exactly where I was on the wrong track again. How do I get the two by two meter mattress home? I often see these vehicles appearing on public roads. You can't speak of security there. Luckily the problem was quickly solved. Not only was my lovely wife able to negotiate the price down a bit, she also managed to have the seller arrange for it to be transported. Two hours later the bed was in the designated room. And everyone was kind of happy. Also the two sellers.

The bed was there, but of course the bedding was still missing. Sheets, pillowcases and things like that. and shopping again. The next day. And again my dear Patty had a golden touch. In the end we only paid half the price.

Unfortunately we still couldn't sleep in our bed. Because the bedding still needed to be washed. But then the time had come. Finally your own bed. Finally sleep well? Mas o menos. It's getting better every day. I should remind again at this time that I was seriously injured last week. The injury is still really bothering me.

My dear wife should take more care of me.
