No, that's not what we wanted!
So, let's move on now. Back to Mancora. On the second day we decided not to go to the beach and instead take a tour up to Tumbes.
Apparently we were lucky. Because the bus was already full and only our three seats were left. The first part, about an hour, we drove to Punta Sal. Our tour guide said that we had 40 minutes for the beach and the attractions. Luckily, I am a keen observer and showed my wife the life jackets. Before we knew it, we had these on and were getting into a dinghy. Which took us to another ship. And change again. The good man now sailed out to the Pacific. We saw water and water and water. And the double banana at the rear.
After we were in the water, we went back to the dinghy and then back to the beach. The ReiLei was already waiting impatiently and we set off towards the bus. It remains to report that the trip to marvel at the water also cost a few soles. Please do not get this wrong. These people should live too. But always the same. Pay entry and then pay for this and for that. This should continue later. But not on this tour.
We drove north again on the Panamericana for about an hour and reached Zorritos. What does ReiLei say? That's right, we'll continue in 40 minutes. My dear wife, my dear mother-in-law and my dear son immediately set off towards the water. I had no choice but to sit at a table and order a pisco sour. I always order a muy delicioso. The keeper acts as if he understands me. I do think he made an effort. Nevertheless, no other bar has come close to the Pisco Sour from the Trattoria Pizzeria in Cusco. That's how it was this time too. I drank it anyway.
Oh yes, Zorritos. There we are. There was beach, water, coconuts helada... 40 minutes for the commission from the event organizer.
Back on the bus. Another hour's drive. The next place should probably be Tumbes. But we didn't get there. Because the bus didn't want to go anymore and we didn't want to go anymore either.
So if you want to waste your time then take this tour. It's better if you rent a taxi for the whole day. Should cost about 100 soles and lunch. Because now you have that say and can decide where you want to look.
My need for guided tours is once again more than covered for the next 12 years.
