PeruMagazin was here: Real Plaza Piura – A center with potential
The Real Plaza Piura is one of the most famous shopping centers in Piura. We at PeruMagazin visited the center to take a closer look at what it has to offer and the atmosphere. The result: a lot of good things, but also a few weaknesses.
diversity of the shopping world
As soon as you enter the Real Plaza Piura, you will see an impressive selection of shops, including international brands such as Adidas and H&M . Despite these highlights, however, some local suppliers are missing that could bring out the Peruvian flair even more. The Ripley department store offers a wide range, but we would like to see more up-to-date and varied products in some cases.
The local stalls with handmade products stand out positively. They are a real highlight for visitors looking for a souvenir or something unique.
Culinary: Good selection, but room for improvement
The gastronomy is varied, but not all restaurants and cafés convinced us. LongHorn impresses with hearty dishes, but smaller stands in the food court sometimes seem inconspicuous and could offer a larger selection of typical Peruvian snacks. If you want to try something new, you will still find what you are looking for here.
Entertainment: Standard, but family-friendly
The Cineplanet cinema is modern and shows current films - a solid offering for cinema fans. There are play areas for children, although they are a bit small and do not always look well maintained. A larger selection of activities would be desirable here.
That certain something
Accessibility is a positive aspect of Real Plaza Piura. With ramps and elevators, the center shows that it is responsive to the needs of many visitors. The planned expansion sounds promising, but it remains to be seen whether this will really make the shopping center more attractive.
Is it worth a visit?
Real Plaza Piura has a lot of potential, but it is not yet fully exploited. It is a good place for shopping and leisure, but those looking for an unforgettable experience might want more variety here.
PeruMagazin was here and says: A good shopping center with development opportunities.
